LPL Earth Day Planting Party and Community Cleanup

Celebrate Earth Day!
Join us as we partner with KV Connect for a fun family friendly Planting Party that will include speakers to teach families about the life cycle of plants and at home gardening. Attendees will be provided a seed starter kit with options ranging from pumpkins and tomatoes to sunflowers. Together we will assemble the kits that attendees will be able to take home to get a jump start on the 2025 gardening season. After the Planting Party join KV Connect for a community clean-up hour at Fairfield’s Mill Island Park. Our goal is to rid the park of litter on Earth Day!
The Planting Party begins at 4:00 at the Library. If you want to participate in the community clean-up of Mill Island Park please being gloves, appropriate footwear and a trash bag to collect litter in. We hope to see you there!
